Le cliché du juif errant qui pèse sur les violonistes juifs est surtout un stéréotype, c'est-à-dire qu'il est moitié faux et complètement réducteur. Mais il y a une tradition. On peut donc faire avec et chercher au-delà. Entretien croisé entre le compositeur David Achenberg et le violoniste Ami Flammer. L'un défend l'errance, tandis que l'autre préfère d'autres termes.

Quand le compositeur Franco Donatoni publie le livre Questo en 1970, il ne s'emploie pas seulement à expliquer sa démarche. Dans le livre ça (titre de la traduction de Laurent Feneyrou qui paraît ce printemps aux éditions Aedam Musicae), le compositeur semble repousser les limites de ce qu'il comprend de sa musique pour appréhender au plus près ce qu'il n'en comprend pas. Si bien que son texte est au bord d'être incompréhensible et que son adaptation radiophonique est impossible. Un exercice auquel se sont tout de même prêté les forces vives du master Arts théorie et pratique de l'ENS.

Plutôt que de faire un portrait ou un entretien avec le compositeur Bastien David, Metaclassique a cheminé avec lui : sur la butte Montmartre au petit matin, près des Tuileries en pleine nuit, dans un TGV en début de soirée, au Bois de Boulogne en plein après-midi jusqu'à l'Abbaye de Royaumont où Bastien David répète avec sa compagnie Les Insectes autour et dans un metallophone accordé au douzième de ton.
Mixer

A minima, le mixage consiste à ajuster le niveau des différentes sources sonores entre elles, pour que la partie soliste ne couvre pas trop l'accompagnement, par exemple. Mais tant qu'à creuser les sons recueillis à l'enregistrement, que serait un mixage a maxima ? Plongée dans une session de travail du compositeur Denis Levaillant avec l'ingénieur du son Pierre Jacquot.
